Description
In the oldest village on island, Vrbanj, located in the central part of the Hvar island, we rent a stylish decorated Dalmatian, stone house. House area is 120 m2 and sufficient for comfortable accommodation for 8-10 people. Around house is 70 m2 landscaped garden with 2 terraces. Stone house consists of ground floor (kitchen-called Konoba, summer kitchen, toilet, living room) and floor (2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower and a separate small room). The house is equipped with all necessary facilities for a pleasant holiday (air conditioning, 2 TV, bathroom and kitchen fully equipped). The house is designed for people who want a peaceful, but active holiday, because accommodation in a very quiet part of the island, and at the same time very close to all the famous beaches, clubs and other places which the island of Hvar is known. The possibilities are great, it up to you to discover them!

Why visit Vrbanj?

Dominating the biggest part of Hvar’s plain, not far from Stari Grad is located the biggest village on the island, Vrbanj. Being in the center of the island, a long time ago it served as a good shelter from pirates, and that’s why the structures of the houses with fortifications and loopholes, which were built in the 16th and 17th century, are so interesting. In the main square in the village stands a house from the early middle ages, Kraljev dvor (King’s palace). The parish church is dedicated to the Holy Spirit and is still standing since the 15th century. From Vrbanj you can go for a picnic on the highest peak on the island called St. Nikola (628 m) on top of which is located the small church of St. Nicolas. While hiking towards the peak you will enjoy the untouched nature and all its charming aromas, while at the peak of St. Nikola you will experience the unique panoramic view of the surrounding villages and islands.
